lyrics

WALTON HILL

Sun was high and blue the sky
I sat awhile for to wonder
As warm the breeze caress the trees
And the silence rolled in like thunder
When first we walked across this land
From times when I was a child
Not much has changed just rearranged
Mother nature;s children running wild

Where fish they sleep in pool’s so deep
And river water’s still
Falcon fly and Curlew cry
On the side of Walton Hill

At rainbow’s end the clouds ascend
A million songbirds high
Wearing autumn attire that heavenly choir
Turning circles joyously they fly
On hill’s of blue where first I knew
And well remembered still
The years may pass to return at last
To the side of Walton Hill

Where fish they sleep in pool’s so deep
And river water’s still
Falcon fly and Curlew cry
On the side of Walton Hill
