RAMBLIN’ ROSE AT HEART Oh my love your a ramblin’ rose at heart Garden sleeps as wild you grow whenever we’re apart How you bloom with every passing spring All of my love ah to you I sing Oh my love your a ramblin’ rose at heart Your my day and my night the every air that I breathe Your my hope and my faith , my saving grace and all that I believe All your sweet love I’ll give you mine As long as we’re together ah the weather’s fine Oh my love you’re a ramblin’ rose at heart

Man who’s Got no Name Circled in the shadows , sheltered from the rain Collar to the wind blowing , head bowed once again Waiting on the corner has it always been the same Oh the light it cast no shadow on the man who’s Got No Name See you in the morning , never stop to say hello Carrying your baggage , most everywhere I go Whether standing at the bus stop or just a waiting for a train Oh the light it cast no shadow , on the Man who’s Got No Name Always in the distance well I glimpse your fleeting face You know those days they come and go and the time I just can’t place I often hear your footsteps as they’re echoing in space The man who cast no shadow , Lost without a trace. Their must be many hundreds in every unlit door Ghostly figures fading fast , washed upon the shore Hiding from the world at night they fly before the flame Oh the light it casts no shadow on the man who’s got no name Oh the light it casts no shadow on the man who’s got no name I wonder where you sleep at night do you lay your head to rest Do the stars come out the moon so bright , like Jesus are you blessed And I wonder what your thinking has it always been the same Oh the light it casts no shadow on the man who’s got no name Oh the light it casts no shadow on the man who’s got no name

Queen of Stourbridge Town Mary at the window looking out across the field Where the stream ran through the orchard and the church bells they pealed Across the road the Stour drove the foundry and the mill And the boats they carried cargo all the way to Castle Hill She wears a crown with her stately gown She’s the queen of Stourbridge Town She wears a crown with her stately gown She’s the queen of Stourbridge Town The workers in the foundry in the heat that’s fit to burst Forged a Lion for Amerikey and came to slake their thirst But it broke the line and never ran and a legend it was born On the banks of New York’s Hudson lie the wheels that never turned Picture on a postcard Zachariah looking down At the turning of the century his family gathered round John Francis saw the coming of the second world at war Saw the bombs rain fire on Birmingham from the step outside the door Katie at the bar she sat one evening holding court For she hung the name Fitzgerald’s on the sign above the door Heard the sound of footsteps was the ghost of Mary’s child With two hundred years of memories in the shining of her eyes

Starlight Road First I saw the sunrise it was on the Starlight Road Sea was blue and velvet and the air was hard and cold Rolling down to Castletown , going find me heart of Gold Silhouetted by the moonshine Riding on the Starlight Road When the Spell is Broken and the time is surely passed Far out on the water in a sky so big and vast Gonna drink my fill , lord yes I will savin’ all for when I’m old And I’m bottling up that moonshine riding on the starlight road

Clear Island 03:43
Monday morning Bright and clear Sweet September day Took a boat out on the water Far across the bay Set our course for Clear Island Across the roaring sound Where all the Saints in all their Glory Stood on holy ground Going all the way to Clear Island Set our sights upon the horizon Left the city streets at daybreak crossed the sea at noon On the evening road out west of Ireland guided by the moon Gone to light the fires at midnight far away from home Gone to fly with angels high in heaven where they roam Going all the way to Clear Island Set our sights upon the horizon

Going Home 03:00
Cold the East wind blowing hard and strong I’m wishing I was gone I’m going home Must be oh a thousand miles or more From here down to your door I’m going home Feel the coming of the storm And the wind is blowing warm As we’re gathered in the dawn I’m going home Waiting on the turning of the tide Gonna cross the ocean wide I’m going home Sky is black and the rain began to pour Upon your western shore I’m going home The wind began to sing Like seabirds on the wing As we’re coming in to land I’m going home The evening of the day It began to fade to grey I wrote your name upon the sand I’m going home

Sitting in my kitchen , I’m cooking up a storm looking out the window, the weather’s bright and warm I’m just thinking to myself , nowhere else I’d rather be I’m the King of my own country, and thats enough for me Rollin’ down the river, trying to find a song tell you how I’m feeling, gonna help you sing along I’m happy in my work , sitting here in my own company I’m the King of my own country, and thats enough for me I ain’t much for changing, when set upon a course Love is all my riches, for better or for worse Married to the future, happy as any man could ever be I’m the King of my own country, and thats enough for me

The Vision 04:01
Oh Trina my dear let’s sail away to Ireland Take leave of this town move far faraway I’ll build you a house a wooden ship to sail in First light of dawn slip gently away For we’ll carry our hopes and fears for the journey wrapped up in a blanket stowed safely away And ah when it rains let love be our shelter Trina my dear Slip gently away For time like the tide let not be our master The clock on the mantle strikes five after tea we’ll sit and we’ll dream of places to wander Trina my dear slip gently away Trina my dear let’s sail upon the morning Your grandmother’s hands they beckon and call And in all that you do you’ll be your father’s daughter Trina my dear I love you so fair Come evening we’ll land and travel to your home town Build us a house set down by the sea A vision so clear like deepest blue water Trina my dear I love you so fair For time like the tide let not be our master We’ll leave when we can for your father has plans To walk through the fields of youth in his autumn Trina my dear I love you so fair

Spirit help me find my way home I’m drunk and I know not which way to fall Show me the pathway and I will walk Where the angels of the night they fear to tread I’ve been battered I’ve been broken I’ve been bruised and I’ve been torn By the grace of God almighty I’m here at al Fallen by the wayside and my sorrows I have drowned With Katie and the wild boys on the other side of town Spirit lift me up when I am down You give me strength to ease the pain I ‘m sick and tired of this old town And a world so crazy its insane I’ve been battered I’ve been broken I’ve been bruised and I’ve been torn By the grace of God almighty I’m here at al Fallen by the wayside and my sorrows I have drowned With Katie and the wild boys on the other side of town I’ve been battered I’ve been broken I’ve been bruised and I’ve been torn By the grace of God almighty I’m here at al Fallen by the wayside and my sorrows I have drowned With Katie and the wild boys on the other side of town

Like a street corner lamp you shine so bright You put my world in shadow Revealing the truth in black and white For all the world to see With your arms so strong and your eyes so bright Give me hope and hold so tight Give me sweet paradise and heaven up above You show me the way with the light , the light of your love You’re the wind in my heart and you blow so strong Your love will last forever Over the years and on and on all the way to freedom Like a bird on the wing you fly so high Over land and sea and sky Give me sweet paradise and heaven up above You show me the way with the light , the light of your love

Well I dreamt I saw your face On a star in outer space But the world was spinning fast And the dream just could not last You’re a thousand miles away you’re a thousand miles away Et au matin il y a le soleil Qui brille et tu es partis si proche et si loin a la fois etoile tombante dificilea attraper Tu es a des annees lumiere Tu es a des annees lumiere
