TIMELESS

Dreaming dreams like butterflies
Your fragile wings so quick to die
Gentle draft is often born
Rolling thunder of the gathering storm
Dust in the wind so often blown
Into a mountain you have grown
From it sprang a lightning tree
Carried by your silver seed
From that storm was cast a cloud
An anvil forged and billed proud
Falling gentle summer rain
Thirsting quenched the earth again
From that tree there flew a bird
The sweetest song I ever heard
Loud and clear she sang the day
All your clouds were blown away

Timeless, timeless we are

Sprang a child a river ran
A waterfall there it began
Cast a lake a silent pool
Enchanted in the summer cool
Then journeyed onwards to the sea
As blue as blue could ever be
How the mighty ocean grew and grew
Forever onwards the butterfly flew
